Earned a Doctors of Education degree from the University of Houston in 1989. Emphasis in the degree was Measurement, Evaluation, and Statistics in Exercise Science. The curriculum for the degree included 42 hours of coursework in Measurement, Evaluation and Statistics classes, 12 hours in Exercise Physiology, 12 hours in Educational Leadership and Cultural Studies, 6 hours in Bio-mechanics and 12 hours in Computer Science.

Earned a Masters of Education degree from the University of Houston in 1983. Emphasis in the degree was Coaching and Conditioning. The curriculum for the degree included 30 hours of coursework in Physical Education centered on Exercise Science and Coaching Philosophy.


B.S. -- Sam Houston State University, December 1980.


Earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Sam Houston State University in 1980. The Major was Photography and Minor was Journalism.


No Degree -- Baylor University.


Attended Baylor University from 1977 to 1979. Majored in Journalism and minored in Photography. Transferred to SHSU after 81 hours.
